Roland GIRTLER's book Methoden der Feldforschung [Field Research Methods] is a well-written introduction to the methods of qualitative field research and is especially helpful for students. It discusses the methodological basics of qualitative field research and the main-methods of participant observation and free discussion with subjects in the field. Another important part of the book discusses the ethical obligations of the field-researcher. URN: urn:nbn:de:0114-fqs0204271Downloads
