Abstract

In "Staring at the Park: A Poetic Autoethnographic Inquiry" nutzt Jane SPEEDY (2015) Gedichte, Zeichnungen und Prosa für einen autoethnografischen Zugang zu Schlaganfallserfahrungen und deren Verarbeitung. In meiner Besprechung nutze ich Inhalt und Form, um einige Schlüsselideen des Buches und meine Leseerfahrungen nahezubringen.

Tony ADAMS is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication, Media and Theatre at Northeastern Illinois University. He studies and teaches interpersonal and family communication, autoethnography, qualitative research, communication theory, and sex, gender, and sexuality; he has published 4 books and more than 50 articles, book chapters, and reviews in these fields.
