Abstract

Während in der qualitativen Soziologie insgesamt eine deutliche Zunahme der Nutzung computergestützter Datenanalyse-Software (CDAS) zu verzeichnen ist, bleibt diese in der polnischen Soziologie weiterhin eher moderat. Ein wesentlicher Effekt der Arbeiten, in denen CDAS zum Einsatz kommt, ist eine wachsende methodologische Aufmerksamkeit, gefolgt von einer angemesseneren und genaueren Datenanalyse. In diesem Beitrag beschäftigen wir uns mit den Kontexten, in denen polnische Forscher/innen arbeiten, und zwar mit Blick auf CDAS. Wir fokussieren dabei vor allem die Sozialwissenschaften, im Besonderen qualitative soziologische Forschung.

Jakub Niedbalski, University of Lodz

JAKUB NIEDBALSKI works as an associate professor at the University of Lodz, Faculty of Economics and Sociology, Institute of Sociology, Sociology of Organisation & Management Department. He conducts classes in computer assisted qualitative data analysis for sociology and social analysis students. He is the author of publications devoted to CAQDAS. In his research work he focuses on the problems of social activation, adaptation and inclusion of persons with disabilities, as well as the development of social research methods in the scope of computer assisted qualitative data analyses.

Izabela Ślęzak, Universiy of Lodz

IZABELA ŚLĘZAK works as an associate professor at the University of Lodz, Faculty of Economics and Sociology, Institute of Sociology, Sociology of Organisation & Management Department. Her research interests are focused on problems of prostitution, escort agencies and female sex work. She performs her research with the application of computer assisted qualitative data analysis. She is the author of several publications devoted to CAQDAS.
