Ein Weg in die qualitative Forschung: Reflexionen über das Erlernen und Lehren der Situationsanalyse

In diesem Aufsatz argumentiere ich für den Gebrauch der Situationsanalyse im Anschluss an Adele CLARKE als Beispiel für ein Theorie/Methoden-Paket, das erlaubt, relevantes und neues Wissen zu produzieren. Dabei richte ich mich insbesondere an diejenigen, die sich der qualitativen Sozialforschung aus Berufsfeldern nähern, welche klassischerweise nicht mit qualitativen Methoden in Verbindung stehen. Ich stütze mich in meiner Argumentation und meinen persönlichen Reflexionen auf eigene Erfahrungen, die ich als Neuankömmling aus einem Berufsfeld an der Schnittstelle von Medizin und Sprache gemacht habe. Zunächst erörtere ich, was Theorie-Methoden-Pakete auszeichnet und welche Bedeutung sie für wissenschaftliches Arbeiten haben. Dann gebe ich eine kurze Einführung in die Situationsanalyse, wobei ich besonders auf die Aspekte eingehe, die für Lernende der qualitativen Sozialforschung hilfreich sind. Abschließend stelle ich dar, was notwendig ist, um die Situationsanalyse lehren und lernen zu können. Hierzu mache einige grundlegende Vorschläge insbesondere für die Vermittlung von Forschungsmethoden für Postgraduierte.
