In this interview, MORSE traces her development as a qualitative researcher from the early stage of her quantitative Master's thesis. Her interest in mixed methods is longstanding. Formed through her background in anthropology, MORSE appears as an icon when she talks about analyzing behavior—this work resembles that of GOFFMAN. She is very serious and critical when thinking about the future of mixed-methods. Her approach to think about theoretical cohesion and theoretical drive can be very attractive to researchers involved in this kind of work. Also her vision of mixed methods can be polemical. She describes her work on suffering and comfort, and the methodological impact of her work on concept analysis. URN: urn:nbn:de:0114-fqs0403331Downloads
