trust, sociological theoryAbstract
The book introduces the theoretical and empirical sociological debate on trust. ENDRESS examines the topic in a historical as well as a systematic perspective, surveying current literature on trust and concluding with his own systematic remarks. While his presentation of theoretical sociological literature on trust is both competent and readable, it remains too closely connected to certain people and their approaches. In addition, ENDRESS' examination of the empirical literature on trust remains fragmentary. The book should be seen, therefore, as an opportunity to access the sociological debate on trust, but coming short of providing a comprehensive overview. URN: urn:nbn:de:0114-fqs040285Downloads
