Abstract

The title "Transcription—A Guide for Students, Researchers and Laymen" is a program as well as a title. In this broad workbook, DITTMAR offers information and directions regarding the art of transforming spoken words into durable writing. He discusses linguistic developments as well as phonological features and systematically introduces current systems of transcription—through which he inspires his readers to do some practical transcription work. Katja KOCH, Dr. phil., Promotion 2001 zum Thema "Der Übergang in die Sekundarstufe aus Lehrersicht", anschließend Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin im Projekt "Familiale Bildungsstrategien als Mehrgenerationenprojekt. Bildungs- und kulturbezogene Austauschprozesse zwischen Großeltern, Eltern und Enkeln in unterschiedlichen Familienkulturen", seit Oktober 2001 Wissenschaftliche Assistentin am Pädagogischen Seminar der Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Arbeitschwerpunkte: Empirische Schul- und Bildungsforschung, Schulentwicklung, Methoden der empirischen Sozialforschung.
